YGOPRO Black Edition (frequently updatin)

after spendin time n probs i faced with compilin code of original YGOPRO, i decided try to make my own "mod"..game will be in "black" style, as much as it could be, n in beginin i will do some GUI changes, n after with evry new release will try to add some new feature...i have no much time, cuz of school, exams are beginin, but i will do my best to let u kno bout changes, from time to time...here is the screen shot i did soo far...its not much, but its important to start somehow :)

update:
- card images resized to 200*290
- added colors for deck, extra, side, n trunk
- CCG support - players will be able to add their own custom card n battle with them in CCG duel

known bugs:
- game dont work if "use_d3d" is set to 1 (its not real bug, just its not compatible with DirectX)

That's great, but it would better if you somehow changed those ugly basic buttons into pictures like Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos series i mean Textures ;) .. should be at the top of your list :D
Also, if you can get each field card to change the field pic when it's played like in the 2nd and 3rd pics.
Sorry if i can't get my ideas into words .. i hope you get what i mean.

yes, i get wht u mean to say ;) im workin on buttons, but not tht much..n im planin to put field pictures for each field spell card...game is still under testin phase, im workin "solo", n there is many things on my mind tht may be done..cheers

I'm the Admin of an italian yu-gi-oh forum and I and my staff are planning to change ygopro and make a new version the most similar to Joey The Passion or YOL3 as possible!!

I really appreciate what you are doing and I wanted to ask you if I can help you somehow for your version.

ok Testing know its Run but some probs.

1. Duell Saving dont work.

2. backround and color from some texts very difficult to read.

3. gframe.exe crashing in deckedit bei by scroll little fast cards.

yes u can write, just letters are white n they are not much visible....
in next update, i will fix it ;)

In Game get some exe.crashes in Tag Duel. Some questions.. why you use other dll´s `? The cards file in your Download have 0 KB.

it is possible to add a scroll at the cardtextbox ? for cards with big description texts ?

other dll's are necessary to run game...(u need only 3 dll's, so its not big deal...)
if u mean on cards database is oKB, i wrote in README file included in download tht u use own cards.cdb..
if u mean on folder "card" just copy, ur card images to tht folder...

bout card text box..yes..its possible to add scroll bar...i will work on it :)

:oops: Please could you tell me how you compiled the exe, and I have everything I need, I have the necessary libraries and sorce code, but I can not compile :cry:

sure friend...i will help u..tell me what compiler u use??
I use MingW with Code::Blocks (u can use CodeLite aswell)..
u need to build some libraries by urself...
also it would be helpfull tht u post some screenshots of compiler errors u have ......:)

Thanks for your help and very good job with the black edition, I use e Codeblocks but never used MinGW, I have these libraries:
lua(5.2);Irrlicht;freetype;event;sqlite3;glu32;opengl32;winmm;gdi32;Ws2_32;imm32
I have windows xp 32-bit, is there a tutorial of how to compile the exe?


I like the black edition of this major project :D but only lacks sound, I have a version based on the version of percy, only modify the fonts, textures and translation of the game, but now I want to start creating my own exe.

why I come here to ask your help because you are the only user that changed the exe

I use e Codeblocks but never used MinGW

CodeBlocks cant work without compiler, cuz CodeBlocks is only IDE..u have necessary libs, which is good...now just get Mingw, n set it up with CodeBlocks..then get source code of a game (if u dont have it already), n download premake4.....when u get all tht, open cmd, navigate to workin directory n run "premake4 codeblocks"...n it will dump u a workspace file..u need just to load it in CodeBlocks, change directories of include files n lib files..n voila...
is there a tutorial of how to compile the exe?

sorry there is no any tutorial how to compile .exe...but if u are at least lil bit known with compilin , there will be no probs :)

I like the black edition of this major project :D but only lacks sound

sound will be added later :)...for now im focused on visual style
